Terms and Conditions

Thanks for choosing The Career Strategy Group as your career services partner.  We are 100% committed to your success and will make every effort to ensure that you are satisfied during every step of our process, a process which has generated great results for many of our clients.

To ensure agreement between both parties, please read our ‘Terms and Conditions.’ Making a purchase from The Career Strategy Group serves as an acknowledgment that you have read, understood, and accepted our pricing, process, and terms and conditions.


Generally, within 24 hours of payment, you will receive a customized questionnaire and instructions on how to initiate your project. Once we receive the completed questionnaire and additional data, you will have a call with your writer. Upon completion of that intake call, your project is placed in the writing queue.

Depending on the writing schedule, standard turn-around time after that intake call is generally 10 business days. Of course, this time-frame is contingent upon the timely response to any follow-up questions or requests for additional information.


Questionnaires not returned within 3 months are subject to a restart fee. All documents and services will be considered complete within 6 months of payment. Current pricing will apply to any project that was put “on hold” by the client. Prior payments will be credited toward new services.


You will receive detailed proofreading instructions with document delivery. You are asked to carefully review your document (or documents) for accuracy and completeness. Unless other arrangements are made, clients must submit revisions by phone or email within 7 days.


All writing services include up to three rounds of revisions. Revisions do not include adding additional Information or any change in target. We are not responsible for incorporating new content into your resume or career documents as part of the revision process. Any revisions that will result in a significant departure from the original draft provided will be considered a new document and will incur additional fees.


To deliver completed documents within the standard delivery time, you will need to review all drafts, revisions, and final documents and notify us in a timely manner.  Unless other arrangements are made, all documents are considered final 30 days after delivery.

The Career Strategy Group is not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, incorrect or misleading information that is not brought to our attention before the project is finalized.


Maintaining confidentiality is one of our highest priorities. All information shared on worksheets or phone consultations during, before, and after the project’s completion remains confidential. The Career Strategy Group does reserve the right to submit fictionalized resumes for contest, award, and publication purposes.


Clients of The Career Strategy Group have had great success finding new positions and advancing their careers. However, we cannot guarantee that clients will land a new job or promotion upon investing in our services.

Job interviews and subsequent hires are solely at an employer’s discretion. A resume (or another career service or document) is only one component of the job-search process. Success finding a new opportunity is based on many factors, many of which are beyond our control.

The Career Strategy Group team works collaboratively with you, our client. It is an iterative process. We do not guarantee a perfect product on the first draft. By purchasing any of our services you agree to our product and services process which includes completing various worksheets, performing suggested activities, and proceed through the revision and iteration process with an open mind. 


Full payment is required before any work on client projects begins. The products and/or services purchased from The Career Strategy Group are conceived, designed, and customized for each client. As such, they are considered a set of creative products and services and are nonrefundable. 


The Career Strategy Group is not responsible for the truthfulness or accuracy of the information provided by our clients. As such, we are not liable for any inaccurate, incorrect or misleading statements in documents based on that information.

You are responsible for reviewing your career documents for completeness and accuracy before sending them to colleagues or submitting them to an employer.

The Career Strategy Group is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by omissions, false statements, or other inaccuracies. Clients agree to hold The Career Strategy Group harmless from any such liability.

Should a client wish to file suit against The Career Strategy Group, the jurisdiction/ choice of law shall be In Montgomery County, Maryland, and each party shall bear its own cost in filing suit.

By remitting payment for services you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
